Now Playing Tracks

So I’m here and I’m trying again.

It’s hard. I certainly don’t make it easy on myself by making excuses and procrastinating. Oh how many weeks I’ve said ‘I’ll start on Monday.’ I don’t remember when this was easy, but I know it was. I was doing it SO WELL and it was for an extended period of time. I came SO FAR, but I’ve gone almost all the way back and it’s so disappointing.

But I can’t go back. I can’t change the past I can only change the future I can only change my habits and my behaviour and it needs to happen. I don’t want to be this person, I want to be the person I was.

It’s going to happen.

Weigh In

Better than I was expecting this week!

Previous Weight: 114.4kg (252lbs)

Current Weight: 112.8kg (248.5lbs)

Previous BMI: 43.6
Current BMI: 43

This weeks loss: 1.6kg (3.5lbs)
This weeks WL%: 1.4%

Happy happy duck! Really feel like my life is getting back on track. Now just to keep it there! Weigh in next week will be early because I’ll be gone all weekend, so it will probably be a small one.

OH! And I’m two weeks down on Dry July.. if you can spare even $1 you’ll be supporting a great cause helping Adult Cancer in Australia.

Have a great week tumblrs & fitblrs!

Was a bit lazy for dinner today, lost track of time so I had a bit of a cheat dinner. Made a quick salad with lettuce, spinach, capsicum, tomato, jalapeños, onion and yogurt & olive oil dressing. Had that with a Michelina’s Lean Gourmet - Prawns and Vegetable Alfredo. I know pre-packed frozen meals aren’t that great but this one is one of the better ones in terms of taste and price as well as calories and sodium content. Dinner came in at about 400cals.

Dinner and Dessert tonight.

Dinner was ‘fire fry’.. basically a veggie (zucchini, squash, spinach, capsicum, chilli, onion & broccoli) curry with some prawns. Served with Raita (no fat yogurt, cucumber, spring onion & coconut milk) and Chips (Wholemeal Sorj Wrap with cajun seasoning).

Dessert was home made fruit salad (orange, apple, grapefruit, banana with lime juice, apple concentrate & mint dressing), raspberry frozen yoghurt and little bits of an cinnamon vanilla bite thing I bought from the markets (organic; nut, gluten, egg, dairy free). Without the bite, dessert is under 150 calories.. I’ve estimated the bite at 100 calories.

1st Weigh in Back

So here we go, first weigh in of many. I’m determined not to fall off the wagon this time. I will get under 100!

Previous Weight: 116.6kg (257lbs)

Current Weight: 114.4kg (252lbs)

Previous BMI: 44.4
Current BMI: 43.6

This weeks loss: - 2.2kg (5lbs)
This weeks WL%: 1.9%

A good start, but a big number was expected this week given that most of it is probably water weight. Here’s to another week of weight loss! Have a good one tumblrs. xoxo

Freshly squeezed vegetable juice! Carrot, Celery, Cucumber and Spinach.
Don’t have a juicer? Neither do I! It’s a bit time consuming, but its pretty simple! All you have to do is chop up the veggies and put them through the food processor till they’re small pieces. Then i put them in a tall container and went at it with the stick blender (a regular blender would work just as well). Then you just need to put the pulp and juice into a nut milk bag or if you don’t have one, you can use a piece of muslin, which you can get from any fabric store … then squeeze the hell out of it! and magic! Juice!
